THAILAND WOMEN'S CENTER

OUR WOMEN'S CENTER IS OPEN & WELCOMING MANY TO EXPERIENCE THE LOVE OF CHRIST

More and more women are walking through our doors to discover the love of Jesus right in the heart of the Red Light District. It is a safe place where they are welcomed to worship, receive counseling, and discover safe job opportunities and training through our True Love Beauty Salon.

A RED LIGHT DISTRICT BAR OWNER GAVE HER LIFE TO JESUS AT OUR WOMEN'S CENTER

Recently, one of our team members began sharing the Gospel with a bar owner (where girls are exploited) in the red light district. At first she refused to listen and called our team member crazy.

But when she started struggling, feeling lost, and thinking about suicide, she remembered the words our team member shared.

She came to the salon in tears as she shared her story. Our team listened and prayed for her and she accepted Jesus as her savior.

Then we asked God for new job opportunities for her and the next day she came back with a plan to sell her business. Now we are helping her begin a new business.

WOW — THE GIRLS ARE FINISHING THEIR 2ND YEAR!

The girls in our scholarship program will finish their second year of studies at the end of March, take a one-month summer break in April, and then return in May for their third and final year! It is amazing to see how far they have come.

Donors — thank you for carrying these ladies through a life-transforming program of education, equipping, and training. Because of you, instead of being sent into the sex trade, they have new hope and bright futures ahead of them.

MEET ICE — ONCE AT RISK OF BEING TRAFFICKED, SHE IS NOW PURSUING HER DREAMS

Before receiving a scholarship, Ice would have faced a future of slavery in the commercial sex industry. We met her through our elementary school prevention program when she was just 9 years old and now she has become a leader in the scholarship program. She plans to pursue a career in Thailand's film industry and we are so proud of her!

Her life is a testimony of what's possible in simply giving these girls the opportunity of a different future.

HUGS CENTER IN NEPAL

HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN ARE BEING PROTECTED FROM THE SLAVE TRADE

The impact of our Hugs Center in Nepal is growing.

Our teams have recently launched outreaches across 5 new villages in Kathmandu, Nepal where the children are high risk for being trafficked. We arereaching over 300 childrenages 4-17 every day to prevent them from being enslaved.

They are learning English, hearing the Gospel, and experiencing new joy!

My heart is postured in grateful reflection and hopeful expectation with you!

This year has taken great faith to face new challenges and uncertainties. I believe it has been a year that presented us with a pivotal choice: to overcome or be overcome. This is the year that has caused us to learn to be overcomers — in our families, communities, and organizations!

Unable to host our annual gala and fundraiser because of the lockdowns and restrictions, we have been uniquely challenged financially this year. There was a point when we thought we may be unable to continue to fund our women’s center in the red light district of Thailand, but by God’s grace and your generosity we have been able to remain faithful to these women and children!

WE ARE OVERCOMERS.

2020 — DESPITE THE CHALLENGES, YOU BROUGHT JUSTICE!

• We experienced incredible growth despite having limited resources.

• Miracles have taken place across each center in Thailand & Nepal!

• We continue to be a hub of refuge and rescue for women who are leaving the sex industry. They are receiving a completely new hope, purpose, and future.

• More and more women and children have come to know Jesus as their glorious hope and savior!

• Children have been protected from being exploited.

• The teen girls in our scholarship program are thriving in their educational studies to have futures free of human trafficking.

• Throughout the pandemic, our centers became outreaches for crisis response by providing food, water, and essential supplies to meet the critical needs of women, children, and families.

• Stateside in Los Angeles, we raised our voices to petition, protest, and host pivotal events to see Pornhub shutdown.

• More and more victorious news is breaking every single day in this fight and we are seeing true justice for those being trafficked, abused and raped through pornography!

2021 — THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

• RETURNING TO THAILAND — We will be returning to the centers with a team!

• GLOBAL EXPANSION — We are presently working on new partnerships to being women's centers and children's schools to the PHILIPPINES and JAPAN, where there is great need to rescue and restore.

Though stretching, this year has made us stronger. God’s heart is for justice and we are reaching as many people as we can with the works of justice and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
